We are looking for a dedicated Associate Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. Key outcomes
- Maintain strict compliance with industry frameworks, including PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and the Data Privacy Framework.
- Manage and optimize security tools such as Splunk, Sophos, Qualys, and AWS to protect our infrastructure.
- Oversee IAM systems to ensure secure user access and perform regular privilege audits.
- Conduct proactive security assessments, including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
- Respond to security incidents, analyze threats, and coordinate remediation efforts across the organization.
- Develop and update security policies while providing training to foster a culture of security awareness.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate successful compliance assessments.
- Monitor network security infrastructure, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and XDR solutions.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CEH, CHFI, or Security+.
- Deep understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Proven experience in security monitoring, incident response, and digital forensics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex security challenges independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with various departments and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
