About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Associate Cyber Security Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our infrastructure and ensuring our systems meet rigorous compliance standards. You will work across departments to implement security measures, manage risk, and promote a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with industry standards including PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and the Data Privacy Framework by conducting regular audits and assessments.
- Manage and configure essential security tools such as Splunk, Sophos, Qualys, and AWS, while administering IAM systems to ensure secure access controls.
- Monitor the company network infrastructure, respond to security incidents, and perform vulnerability assessments or penetration testing to mitigate potential risks.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should bring a blend of technical expertise and analytical problem-solving skills. We look for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CEH, CHFI, or Security+.
- In-depth knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization.
- Proven experience in security monitoring, incident response, and forensic analysis.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Location
This position is remote and can be performed from anywhere.
