About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Associate Cyber Security Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our infrastructure and ensuring our systems remain compliant with rigorous industry standards. You will work across departments to manage security tools, oversee access controls, and proactively mitigate risks in an evolving digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure organizational compliance with critical industry standards, including PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and the Data Privacy Framework.
- Manage and configure essential security technologies such as Splunk, Sophos, Qualys, and AWS to protect company data and infrastructure.
- Administer IAM systems to maintain secure user access controls and conduct regular audits to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should bring a strong technical background and a proactive approach to security. We look for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CHFI.
- Comprehensive knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, and authentication processes.
- Proven experience in incident response, security monitoring, and forensic analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to diverse teams.
