We are thrilled to see Fandom growing, and we are currently looking for an Associate Commerce Editor to join the GameSpot team. As the world’s largest fan platform, we reach over 350 million unique visitors every month, providing a home for fans to explore their favorite movies, TV shows, and games. You will report to our Director of Commerce and work alongside a talented, distributed team that is passionate about entertainment. If you have a knack for blending creative storytelling with data-driven insights to help our audience discover products they love, we would be excited to have you on board.
What you'll be doing
- Create, edit, and publish engaging commerce content that stays true to our brand voice while meeting our editorial and strategic goals.
- Use SEO best practices, including keyword research and on-page optimization, to ensure our shopping stories reach the right readers.
- Analyze performance trends and use data to pitch new content ideas, test different story formats, and support our broader editorial team with affiliate strategy.
What you'll bring
- Two to three years of professional experience in commerce editorial.
- A solid grasp of affiliate networks and the technology behind them, along with the ability to use that data to inform your content strategy.
- Proficiency with SEO tools like Google Trends, Google Keywords, and SEMrush.
- Experience working with site analytics platforms to track traffic and performance.
- Strong communication skills in English and a sharp eye for detail, especially when managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll get
