The role
We are looking for a tenacious Associate Business Development Manager to join our Singapore office. This is a full-time, mid-level position that operates on a hybrid basis, allowing you to balance remote work with time in our modern office on Robinson Road. You will play a vital role in driving the adoption of our FX payment products and hedging solutions, helping us expand our footprint by engaging with small-to-medium-sized enterprises.
Core responsibilities
- Build a robust pipeline of new business by proactively sourcing opportunities through cold calls, networking events, trade exhibitions, and strategic partnerships.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial outreach and qualification of inbound leads to closing new accounts and facilitating a smooth transition to our Portfolio Sales Management team.
- Maintain high standards of data integrity by keeping accurate records in Salesforce and consistently reporting on your progress toward weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue targets.
Skills and experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a proactive sales role within the financial services sector.
- Proven success in B2B sales, specifically regarding consultative selling, corporate negotiations, and customer acquisition.
- Strong familiarity with Salesforce and other lead-generation tools.
- A solid understanding of FX products, such as spot, forwards, and derivatives, or the broader payments technology landscape is highly preferred.
- Fluency in English is required for all internal communications.
- Applicants must be either a Singapore Citizen or a Permanent Resident to be eligible for this position.
Compensation and benefits
We are committed to supporting our employees through a comprehensive package that includes:
- Hybrid work arrangements to provide flexibility.
- A competitive salary structure.
- Performance-based bonus opportunities.
- Extensive career growth and professional development paths within our global organization.
- Access to a range of corporate benefits.
