Role at a glance

We are searching for a Junior Assistant Water Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based out of our Folsom, California office, offering you the chance to work under the direct mentorship of our senior engineers and project managers. You will gain hands-on experience across a variety of planning and design projects while contributing to our mission of building a better water future.

Your impact

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to plan, design, and optimize essential water infrastructure.
• Manage and oversee the development of water and wastewater projects, including taking ownership of scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Step into roles ranging from Project Engineer to Assistant Project Manager as you build your expertise and professional portfolio.

What you'll need

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with a preference for those currently enrolled in or holding a Master’s degree.
• Between 1 and 3 years of professional experience in the engineering field.
• A team-first mindset and the ability to communicate complex technical ideas through reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Strong foundational knowledge of project goals and a desire to work with both freedom and accountability.
• Proficiency in CAD, BIM, or Revit 3D design is considered a significant plus.
• Fluency in English to effectively collaborate with our clients and internal teams.
