We are Ruggable, a fast-growing, venture-backed e-commerce company headquartered in Los Angeles. We have disrupted the home décor market with our patented washable rug designs, and we are dedicated to helping our customers live vibrantly. We are currently looking for a Junior Assistant Video Editor to join our creative team on a contractor basis. This is a remote role that offers a fantastic chance to learn from seasoned professionals while helping us produce high-quality branded content for our loyal community.

Responsibilities

Prepare projects for promotional campaigns and launches by organizing assets, creating shot sequences, and setting up files for our lead editors.
Handle various editing tasks, including re-editing existing footage, adapting content for international markets, and exporting files in multiple formats.
Create and edit evergreen video content for our website and social media channels while following our established brand standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in video production and a drive to grow your marketing career. We are looking for the following qualifications:

Practical experience using Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
A genuine eagerness to learn our internal processes and master new professional tools.
Familiarity with project management software like Asana and digital asset management systems is highly preferred.
An interest in data-driven marketing and a passion for diverse social media platforms.
Experience with review platforms like Frame.io is a plus.

What we offer

We provide a compensation rate of $60,000 annually, based on a 40-hour work week through January 2025. In addition to this pay, you will enjoy the flexibility of a remote work environment.
