Key outcomes
- Design and implement efficient pipelines and procedures for software development and infrastructure deployment.
- Build and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure using Terraform and Gitlab.
- Develop containerized application platforms utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
- Optimize data architecture and flow to support cross-functional teams and large-scale data processing.
- Lead and mentor a team of onsite and offshore DevOps engineers while setting clear performance goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, data architects, and IT teams to align cloud-based solutions with business objectives.
- Ensure system security through continuous vulnerability assessments and proactive risk management.
- Oversee the migration of systems from on-premise environments to the AWS Cloud.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
- At least 12 years of professional experience in DevOps engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Terraform and Gitlab CI/CD.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with AWS Cloud services, including EC2, ECS, VPC, EMR, Lambda, Glue, Batch, RDS, and Redshift.
- Proficiency with CloudFormation and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Experience managing binary artifacts using jFrog Artifactory.
- Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript.
- Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes container platforms.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA.
- Strong background in Linux and Windows OS environments, including scripting with Bash, KSH, and PowerShell.
- Expertise in TCP/IP protocols, security architecture, and system hardening.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $110,000-$209,500 USD. In addition to base pay, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package that includes:
