Key outcomes
- Design and implement efficient pipelines for software development and infrastructure deployment while managing critical data systems.
- Build and maintain continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for data infrastructure using Terraform and Gitlab.
- Develop containerized application platforms utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
- Lead a team of onsite and offshore DevOps engineers, including setting performance goals and managing team activities.
- Optimize data architecture and flow to support cross-functional teams and strategic data initiatives.
- Migrate systems from on-premise environments to AWS Cloud.
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures through continuous vulnerability assessments and risk management.
- Ensure high system performance through proactive monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- At least 12 years of professional experience in DevOps engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Terraform and Gitlab CI/CD.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with AWS Cloud services, including EC2, ECS, VPC, EMR, Lambda, Glue, Batch, RDS, and Redshift.
- Proficiency in CloudFormation and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Experience with jFrog Artifactory for binary and artifact management.
- Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript.
- Expertise in building and maintaining container platforms with Docker and Kubernetes.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, including shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell, KSH).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, security architecture, and incident response lifecycles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $110,000-$209,500 USD. Beyond base pay, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package that includes:
