Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior-level Assistant Chief Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site role based in the United States, where you will provide essential technical and administrative support to the Senior Chief Engineer. You will be responsible for overseeing our engineering operations and ensuring our facilities run at peak performance.
Your impact
- Lead and supervise our maintenance staff, ensuring all service requests are handled efficiently while minimizing disruption to building operations.
- Manage and implement our comprehensive preventative maintenance program, which includes scheduling tasks, maintaining inventory, and ordering necessary parts.
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship to the operations team to expand their technical capabilities and ensure a high level of professionalism in every task.
What you'll need
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience, with a preference for those who have held supervisory roles.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- An Operating Engineers license (SMA) or an equivalent qualification.
- Universal Technician certification for CFCs, or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of starting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills and a proven commitment to excellent customer service.
- Fluency in English.
