Lincoln Property Company is a prominent private real estate firm managing over 562 million square feet of commercial space globally. We are currently seeking a Senior Assistant Chief Building Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will partner with our Senior Chief Engineer to oversee daily operations, manage technical and administrative tasks, and lead our maintenance personnel to ensure all building systems function at their peak.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team during your shift, ensuring that all service requests are handled efficiently while minimizing disruption to building occupants.
- Develop the skills of our operations staff through consistent training, mentorship, and direct supervision.
- Manage our preventative maintenance program by scheduling tasks, maintaining necessary inventory, and ordering the parts or equipment required for repairs and new installations.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- At least 5 years of relevant industry experience, with preference given to those who have held supervisory roles.
- You must hold a valid EPA certification and either possess or be able to obtain a Universal Technician certification for CFCs within 90 days of starting.
- An Operating Engineers license, such as an SMA, is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is necessary for administrative tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a proven commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
