The opportunity

We are seeking a Mid-Level ASIC Verification Engineer to join our dedicated ASIC team. Your primary mission is to ensure the pre-silicon quality and functional correctness of our flagship convolutional neural network accelerator. This component is the heart of our perception module for autonomous driving, and you will play a critical role in verifying a design that combines custom computational units with third-party SoC IP. You will be instrumental in delivering record-breaking performance in a low-power envelope, ensuring our technology remains at the forefront of the industry.

A day in the life

• You will collaborate closely with our design and architecture teams to deeply understand the functional goals of our ASIC blocks and develop comprehensive test plans.
• You will implement robust verification environments using System Verilog and UVM, focusing on object-oriented programming principles and constrained random stimulus.
• You will manage the full verification lifecycle, which includes triaging performance issues, tracking bugs, and driving coverage convergence to ensure our silicon is ready for the real world.

Who you are

You are a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and possesses a strong interest in AI architectures. You communicate fluently in English and bring the following expertise to our team:

• At least 2 years of professional experience in ASIC verification.
• Strong proficiency in Verilog and System Verilog, along with experience using UVM.
• A solid understanding of ARM or RISC-V architectures and AMBA/AXI protocols.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python or Perl to automate and improve our front-end flows.
• A degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
