We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team as an Ashore Enterprise Network and Deployables Type Wing Support expert. Our work centers on maintaining the complex technological landscape that supports the Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet. The opportunity
In this full-time, on-site role, you will serve as a vital link in our enterprise technology operations. You will take ownership of the procurement and management processes that keep our networks running smoothly. This position is designed for a senior professional who understands the intricacies of Navy information systems and wants to apply their expertise to keep our critical assets functioning at their peak. You will be the go-to person for navigating complex approval systems and ensuring our hardware and software requirements are met with precision.
A day in the life
- You will manage the end-to-end procurement processes for Navy Marine Corp Intranet and ONE-NET systems, ensuring all requests move through the Navy Information Technology Approval Systems efficiently.
- You will oversee IT asset management and handle the sustainment of DLA Multi-Function Devices, while performing initial troubleshooting to resolve connectivity issues.
- You will utilize the Microsoft Office Suite to maintain detailed documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide top-tier customer service.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with at least five years of experience working within the Navy or an equivalent environment. You possess a deep understanding of enterprise technology and project management. To thrive in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of the NMCI and ONE-NET procurement processes.
- Proficiency in navigating the NAV-ITAS system and DLA procurement procedures.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills for IT asset connectivity.
- Excellent command of the English language, both in written reports and verbal communication.
- Advanced capability with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
