Art Director at Planful

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Art Director with a web focus to create amazing user experiences for our planful.com. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design along with robust systems thinking. They should also have superior user interface design skills, a keen understanding of brand and experience working in B2B.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex roadblocks.
• Help take the Planful brand to the next level for a newer enterprise minded audience.
• Work with a team to execute visual design stages from concept to launch.
• Create Mockups, wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
• Push the Planful brand to its highest potential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable branding and graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
• Proficiency in Figma for design and rapid prototyping.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Strong EQ obtaining excellent written, verbal, and collaborative communication skills.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques, and technologies.
• A humble team player who makes decisions based on what's best for the company.

Pay Transparency Statement

At Planful our top priority is to support our employees and ensure each individual has access to equal growth opportunities. Pay decisions take into consideration the individual's skillset, experience, knowledge, qualifications for the role, and specific work location. Our salary band for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 USD base per year, dependent on working location and experience.
