Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our Creative Director to define and evolve our brand vision, ensuring all visual assets remain consistent and high-quality.
- Lead the art direction for both still and motion photography, from initial concepting and storyboarding to final execution.
- Develop comprehensive creative briefs and present your vision clearly to internal stakeholders and external creative partners.
- Manage the post-production workflow, including providing precise feedback on retouching and video edits to ensure they meet our brand standards.
- Partner with our production team to bring imagery to life, troubleshoot creative challenges, and maintain a holistic view of our brand assets.
- Identify and recommend new creative talent, such as photographers and editors, who align with our brand identity.
- Ensure all content effectively serves our key retail partners, including Sephora and Ulta, while pushing creative boundaries.
Must-haves
- Six to eight years of professional experience in design, concept development, and art direction.
- Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and CaptureOne.
- A strong background in photography and a refined visual design aesthetic.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work from our NYC office three days per week.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience working with beauty, lifestyle, or retail brands like Sephora.
- Proficiency in motion graphics tools such as After Effects.
