The opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated Area Sales Manager to oversee our operations in Northwest Italy. In this role, you will be the face of Sakura for our most significant accounts across Lombardy and Piedmont. You will focus on building long-term partnerships, driving business growth, and promoting our advanced histopathology instruments. By utilizing a consultative sales approach, you will help our customers solve complex challenges while ensuring we meet our collective goals for revenue and market impact.
A day in the life
- You will actively identify and acquire new business opportunities, managing key accounts to hit specific sales targets for our SMART Automation and focus product lines.
- You will collaborate daily with our regional marketing teams, field service engineers, and other internal partners to provide seamless solutions and monitor evolving market trends.
- You will maintain accurate records of your progress and market insights by utilizing our CRM and preparing detailed monthly reports to drive continuous improvement.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with a strong background in the diagnostics industry. You understand the nuances of the medical field and have the technical expertise to discuss high capital investments with confidence. Specifically, we are looking for the following:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Three to five years of commercial experience in diagnostics, with a mandatory focus on B2B sales and expertise in histology, pathology, or cytology.
- Proven experience in consultative selling and familiarity with leasing models or cost per test solutions.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to communicate fluently in both Italian and English.
