The opportunity

We are looking for an Architect/Lead Developer to join us in India. This is a hybrid role where you will balance hands-on technical work with high-level architectural strategy. You will spend half of your time writing code and building features, while the other half will be dedicated to mentoring our developers and guiding our technical direction. You will play a vital role in shaping how we build our software, ensuring that our solutions remain robust, scalable, and efficient as we continue to support our global clients.

A day in the life

• You will design and document scalable software architectures using TypeScript and AWS, ensuring our systems are built for long-term success.
• You will lead development tasks, including the creation of optimized GraphQL APIs and the implementation of event-driven patterns using Kafka.
• You will act as a mentor and technical guide for our development team, providing troubleshooting support and ensuring that our code quality remains high through consistent reviews and best practices.

Who you are

You are a seasoned developer with at least five years of experience, and you have spent a significant portion of that time focusing on software architecture. You are comfortable leading teams and have a proven track record of translating complex business requirements into clear technical specifications. You have a deep understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript, and you are highly proficient in AWS cloud services. You communicate clearly in English, and you enjoy working in an agile environment where you can collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
