What is this role?

We are seeking a high-impact Lead Architect to join our engineering leadership team on a full-time, on-site basis in India. This is a senior-level position for someone with over 10 years of experience who is ready to shape our long-term technical vision. You will work directly with our founders and engineering leadership to ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and ready to support our rapid growth.

What will you do?

• Define and evolve our long-term technical architecture across all domains, including backend, infrastructure, security, and data platforms.
• Partner with product and engineering leaders to translate our business strategy into robust, scalable systems that improve developer velocity.
• Own the architectural decision-making process for large-scale initiatives, such as system re-designs, org-wide migrations, and infrastructure modernization.

What makes you a great fit?

You are a seasoned engineer who thrives in high-growth environments and understands the complexities of distributed systems. To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• At least 10 years of engineering experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a Staff, Principal, or Architect role.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, specifically with AWS or GCP, as well as Kubernetes and infrastructure as code.
• A strong background in fintech or other highly regulated industries where handling sensitive data and maintaining compliance is essential.
• Fluency in English and the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
• A proven track record of scaling systems and mentoring the next generation of senior engineering talent.
