We are currently looking for a talented professional to join our Storefront team in India, where we handle tens of millions of daily requests and scale to hundreds of millions during peak events.

What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Architect to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a high-level role for an experienced professional who is ready to take ownership of our most complex software systems. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our e-commerce platform and mentoring the next generation of engineering talent.

What will you do?

• Take full ownership of the architecture for our new product platforms, ensuring they drive meaningful business results and possess the scalability to handle massive traffic.
• Lead the design and architectural governance for advanced systems, while conducting thorough code and design reviews to maintain high quality and reliability.
• Mentor and coach a diverse team of talented engineers, architects, and DevOps professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and best practices.

What makes you a great fit?

To be successful in this role, you should have over 10 years of experience in software product development and a degree in Computer Science or a related field. You should be a hands-on problem solver who thrives in high-growth environments. Your technical background should include:

• Expertise in Java or Go, with a deep understanding of multi-threading and performance-oriented programming.
• Extensive experience designing and developing massively large-scale distributed systems.
• Proficiency with large-scale RDBMS and NoSQL database systems.
• A strong grasp of open source software, system design principles, and object-oriented programming.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end product development for consumer-facing applications.
• Fluency in English to collaborate effectively with our business stakeholders and global technical forums.
