Architect at Nielsen

We are looking for a Senior Architect to join our team on a full-time basis. Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and delivery of technology solutions while ensuring they align with our business goals and industry standards.
• Select the right frameworks and tools for each project, keeping long-term performance and system maintainability in mind.
• Design and optimize software systems to ensure they are resilient, scalable, and capable of high performance.

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or a related technical field.
• At least 10 years of experience working within large-scale corporate technology environments.
• Proven success in an Architect role, specifically with a track record of designing and implementing software architecture.
• Deep expertise in leading teams to build cloud-native data processing frameworks using microservices.
• Advanced proficiency in core Java or JVM-based languages, with Python skills considered a strong asset.
• Working knowledge of Spring Boot, AWS services, and SQL development within industry-standard RDBMS environments like PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Strong leadership abilities, including experience managing technical teams and a commitment to mentoring others.
