Architect at Myntra

At Myntra, our engineering team builds the robust technology platforms that power the shopping journeys of millions of customers across India. We are a dedicated group focused on creating massive-scale web and mobile applications, sophisticated personalization engines, and efficient inventory systems that bring products from suppliers directly to our users. As a member of our Storefront team, you will help design and maintain the systems that handle tens of millions of daily requests, scaling up to hundreds of millions during our high-traffic sale events. We are looking for an experienced Architect to join our team in India on a full-time, on-site basis to help us shape the future of fashion e-commerce.

What you'll be doing

• You will own the architectural vision for our new product platforms, ensuring they are built to drive significant business results and long-term scalability.
• You will mentor and coach a talented group of engineers, architects, and DevOps professionals, fostering a culture of design excellence and technical best practices.
• You will collaborate closely with product management and business stakeholders to define our technical roadmaps and shape the future direction of our e-commerce ecosystem.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in software product development and a passion for solving complex technical challenges. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Over 10 years of experience in software development, with a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven expertise in designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems that handle millions of transactions daily.
• Deep proficiency in Java or Go, along with extensive knowledge of multi-threading and performance optimization.
• Solid experience working with both RDBMS and NoSQL database systems.
• A history of leading architectural initiatives within high-growth e-commerce or startup environments.
• Strong communication skills in English to effectively collaborate across teams and represent our technical vision.
• A deep understanding of cloud services, system design, and open-source frameworks.
