Architect, Site Reliability Engineer at Zscaler

What is this role?

We are looking for a visionary Senior Architect to join our Site Reliability Engineering team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a high-impact leadership position for an industry expert who understands how to scale reliable, high-performance systems. You will provide the technical direction for our SRE platform and tooling, ensuring our infrastructure evolves to meet the needs of our global business.

What will you do?

• Provide technical leadership and vision for our SRE platform, with a specific focus on AIOps and observability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement a secure, scalable architecture that supports our long-term business goals.
• Mentor engineering teams and foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and industry-leading reliability across the Zscaler Cloud.

What makes you a great fit?

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and a passion for engineering at scale. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• At least 12 years of experience working within the observability and automation space.
• Deep expertise in AIOps and the application of AI/ML to improve operational efficiency.
• A proven background in SRE culture within similar technology environments, including experience delivering cloud-based services.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to discuss complex technical requirements and solutions with executives, partners, and internal teams in English.
• A commitment to technical evangelism, including the ability to represent Zscaler at conferences and contribute to open-source projects.
