The opportunity
We are seeking an Architect of Cloud Security to join our executive team. In this role, you will be the guardian of our cloud environments, ensuring that our infrastructure remains resilient, compliant, and cutting-edge. You will bridge the gap between complex security design and practical application, working across our AWS and GCP platforms to innovate our security posture. This is a high-impact position where you will lead multi-stakeholder projects and drive our security strategy forward.
A day in the life
- You will take full ownership of our cloud security measures, constantly seeking out innovative ways to improve our defenses across AWS and GCP.
- You will lead the implementation of security frameworks by championing an automation-first approach to design and infrastructure.
- You will mentor and upskill our security team by integrating advanced technologies like GenAI and anomaly detection into our daily operations.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with a deep passion for cloud infrastructure and a strategic mindset. You thrive in environments that demand both technical precision and strong leadership. To be successful in this role, you should bring the following:
- At least 8 years of overall experience working within cloud infrastructure.
- A minimum of 5 years of specialized experience in cloud security, specifically with AWS or GCP.
- Proven hands-on expertise in writing automation scripts and implementing Infrastructure as a Code (IaaC).
- Fluency in English to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders, negotiate timelines, and handle complex contracts.
