What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Applied Scientist I to join our Data Intelligence Center of Excellence. This is a full-time, hybrid position open to candidates anywhere. In this role, you will help elevate our machine learning and artificial intelligence strategy by personalizing the Qualtrics experience and showcasing our data as a core competitive advantage.

What will you do?

• Research, implement, evaluate, and maintain cutting-edge machine learning models as part of a multidisciplinary team to support our rapidly growing business.
• Stay current with the latest developments in machine learning research and share those insights with the broader technical community.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other specialists to lead design reviews, define requirements, and prioritize features in an agile environment.

What makes you a great fit?

You should hold a Master’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering. We are looking for someone with deep expertise in at least one of the following areas: Natural Language Processing, Time Series Modeling, Deep Learning, Data Mining, or Computer Vision. You should be proficient with industry-standard frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn. Strong communication skills in English are essential, as you will be working alongside like-minded professionals to solve complex problems and deliver high-impact solutions.
