Applied Machine Learning Research Scientist at Coactive AI

As a Forbes AI 50 company backed by investors like Andreesen Horowitz and Bessemer Venture Partners, we are looking for an Applied Machine Learning Research Scientist to join our team in a hybrid capacity. You will work alongside experts who have shaped modern machine learning at organizations like Google, Meta, and Lyft to build the next generation of AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead experimentation and ideation to develop innovative technologies that enhance our core products.
• Build, optimize, and deploy machine learning models into production environments while collaborating closely with software engineers.
• Conduct hands-on analysis and modeling of massive datasets to extract actionable insights.
• Design and execute A/B experiments, collect data, and perform rigorous statistical analysis.
• Create scalable, automated processes for model development, validation, and serving.
• Mentor team members and serve as a technical resource for cross-functional groups.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific challenges and co-create tailored machine learning solutions.
• Present your findings to leadership and at prominent scientific venues.
• Stay active in market research to identify new technological differentiators for our platform.

Must-haves

• A PhD in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning.
• At least 2 years of experience in a research lab or startup environment, with a proven ability to turn research into practical applications.
• A strong track record of machine learning contributions, including publications in reputable journals or conferences.
• Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, Spark, NumPy, SciPy, and scikit-learn.
• Experience working with vector databases to enhance machine learning algorithms.
• Fluency in English.
