What you bring
As a Senior Applied Machine Learning Engineer based in Canada, you will join our predictive maintenance team to bridge the gap between high-level research and real-world technical implementation. This full-time role requires a deep focus on Engineering, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning using Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models to solve complex business challenges within production environments.
- Collaborating with product managers and fellow engineers to define requirements and ensure the seamless integration of AI models into our web applications.
- Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of AI products, which includes optimizing algorithms for scalability, performing on-call duties, and maintaining model performance in production.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who possesses a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. You should have at least 3 years of professional experience with standard ML tools and a solid grasp of deep learning, including Large Language Models. Success in this role requires hands-on experience with fine-tuning and optimizing models, as well as applying techniques like quantization and distillation to reduce latency. We value candidates who are fluent in both English and French. You should be a self-motivated problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment and understands the nuances of working with cloud-based data warehouses and data lakes.
What we offer
We provide a competitive salary alongside meaningful equity opportunities to ensure you are invested in our long-term success. Our benefits package is designed to support your well-being and future, including:
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
- Participation in our 401(k) or RRSP enrollment programs.
- A flexible "take what you need" paid time off policy.
- A global, meritocratic work culture where we celebrate hard work and value being smart, humble, and optimistic.
How to Apply
If you are excited about creating software that empowers the global workforce and you have the technical expertise to drive our predictive maintenance initiatives, we want to hear from you. Please submit your application to join our team and help us build the future of frontline work.
