Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of L4 autonomous semi-trucks for the commercial market.
- Optimize complex deep learning models to run efficiently on embedded NVIDIA GPUs.
- Create custom CUDA kernels and TensorRT plugins to support our perception and planning algorithms.
- Partner with cross-functional experts to influence the autonomy stack and deploy models directly onto our vehicles.
- Analyze and resolve system performance bottlenecks to ensure peak operation.
- Maintain high engineering standards by documenting your work, participating in code reviews, and engaging in strategic team discussions.
Must-haves
- A relevant bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of professional experience, or an advanced degree.
- Strong proficiency in C++14 with a focus on writing clean, robust, and efficient code.
- Proven experience with CUDA programming and algorithm parallelization.
- Practical experience developing TensorRT plugins.
- Familiarity with collaborative development workflows using Git and Jira.
- Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills.
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Nice-to-haves
- Professional background in robotics or autonomous systems.
- Experience working within safety-critical system environments.
- Proficiency with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $103,700 to $124,400 USD.
