Role at a glance

We are looking for a mid-level Applications Scientist to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based out of our offices in Waltham, US, or Oxford, UK. You will play a key part in our application development efforts, balancing independent experimental work with high-impact collaborations, requiring up to 30% travel to support our global partners.

Your impact

• Drive the adoption of mass photometry by creating novel applications that address critical needs in antibody workflows, spanning from early drug discovery to final manufacturing.
• Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders and customers across academia, biotech, and biopharma to ensure our technology remains at the forefront of the industry.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert by training our field teams, authoring white papers, and representing our brand at major industry conferences and events.

What you'll need

To succeed in this role, you should be a strong communicator who can translate complex scientific data into clear value propositions. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• An advanced degree in pharmacology, cell biology, medical biosciences, or a related field, with a PhD preferred.
• At least 3 years of hands-on laboratory experience within the biotech or biopharma sectors.
• Deep expertise in antibody discovery workflows, along with a knack for strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluency in English and the ability to travel for customer engagements and industry events.
