Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Applications Operations Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere, provided you are comfortable working in an agile, geographically dispersed environment. You will play a critical role in maintaining the health and efficiency of our platform while supporting our engineering and product teams.
Your impact
- Streamline operations: You will build automation tools and scripts to improve our processes and enhance our system monitoring and observability capabilities.
- Drive cross-functional success: You will partner with software developers and customer success teams to facilitate smooth deployments and ensure our operational strategies align with our development goals.
- Manage mobile releases: You will oversee updates for the Apple App Store and Google Play, ensuring our processes remain consistent and compliant with evolving platform policies.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should be a proactive problem solver with a strong technical foundation and the ability to communicate effectively in English. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in application operations, system administration, or a similar capacity within an agile, tech-focused environment.
- Hands-on experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails, along with proficiency in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or BASH.
- A solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with modern monitoring and observability platforms.
- The ability to thrive in a remote, distributed team while maintaining high standards for documentation and security compliance.
