The opportunity
We are seeking an Applications Manager to lead the planning, development, and maintenance of our software business applications. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be the bridge between our technical systems and our business needs. You will manage a talented team of developers, analysts, and consultants to ensure our software is secure, scalable, and efficient. By collaborating with functional leaders and external partners, you will ensure that our technological infrastructure supports our growth and operational goals.
A day in the life
- You will oversee the entire lifecycle of our business applications, from managing daily operational support to directing complex project implementations and setting clear milestones.
- You will mentor and lead a team of technical staff, conducting performance reviews and fostering a culture of professional growth and collaboration.
- You will act as a subject matter expert, working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure our systems are optimized for performance using tools like Power BI and MS SQL Server.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with a strong technical background and a passion for leadership. You communicate effectively in English and enjoy translating complex technical concepts for business stakeholders. Your background includes:
- At least 10 years of experience in IT application management and software development, with a specific focus on ERP systems like MS D365.
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Deep familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft technologies, including Power Platform, MS SQL Server, and REST APIs.
- A bachelor's degree in a technical field like Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
