Applications Engineer at Eliyan

We are Eliyan, a company dedicated to building innovative chiplet technology that addresses critical bandwidth and scaling challenges for the next generation of AI and data center infrastructure. Our team focuses on creating high-speed interfaces that prioritize power efficiency and compact design. We are looking for a Senior Applications Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our groundbreaking work, acting as a vital bridge between our internal engineering teams and our demanding customers to ensure they receive the high-quality solutions they need.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across internal teams, including Design, Signal Integrity, Firmware, SDK, and Production, to develop and document essential application notes.
• Manage the customer relationship by organizing meetings, tracking project timelines, and ensuring all deliverables meet our high quality standards.
• Take ownership of technical issues by coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve problems and ensure our production devices are delivered on schedule.

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience, with a proven ability to lead and drive applications engineering initiatives.
• Strong technical proficiency with high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, CXL, UCIe, and BOW.
• Hands-on experience with analog building blocks like PLL, CDR, CTLE, DFE, FFE, and FEC.
• Programming skills in Python and C++.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, paired with a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Bonus: Experience with optical interconnects and working with OSAT is considered a significant asset.
