About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Application Support Specialist to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between our technology infrastructure and business operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of our critical systems while collaborating closely with developers, quants, and business stakeholders to maintain the high standards expected at a global investment firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24x7 support for mission-critical systems, which includes managing production issues, coordinating escalations, and conducting thorough post-mortem analyses.
- Design and implement a unified strategic monitoring and alerting platform to ensure optimal system performance and availability.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical playbooks for disaster recovery and detailed overviews of system dependencies for both technical and leadership teams.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should possess a deep understanding of enterprise and cloud technology, ranging from networking and operating systems to application architecture. We require the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of professional experience in enterprise-level application monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working with workload orchestration platforms such as ActiveBatch, JAMS, or AutoSys.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective coordination across our global offices.
Location
This position is based in the United States and requires an on-site presence.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $120,000 to $170,000, with eligibility for a discretionary year-end bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
