About the Role
We are searching for a Senior Application Support Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be the primary guardian of our production environments. You will focus on investigating incidents, ensuring the stability of our microservices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to keep our operations running at their best. This position is fully remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve complex production incidents by analyzing application logs, API behavior, and database performance.
- Conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis to document findings and implement preventive measures that enhance long-term system reliability.
- Debug and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, including the implementation of necessary code fixes and validation of production releases.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience in application or production support roles.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Azure services, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and Git workflows.
- Advanced English language skills, as you will be communicating technical findings to various stakeholders.
Location
This position is open to candidates currently residing in El Salvador, Mexico, or Colombia.
