Application Support Engineer at Kyivstar

The role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Application Support Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will play a vital role in maintaining and evolving our technical systems, ensuring that our internal processes remain efficient and reliable.

Core responsibilities

• Provide business-level support for the Ivanti platform by configuring and performing deep technical adjustments to automate processes for our Technical Directorate.
• Collaborate with key system users to implement new features or modify existing business processes within our information systems.
• Ensure the technical integration and alignment of new solutions with our existing related systems, while maintaining complex workflows, business rules, and service level agreements.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical foundation and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We require the following qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in the IT industry.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in software administration.
• A higher education degree.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, along with practical experience managing Oracle and MS SQL Server databases.
• Fundamental knowledge of Windows and Unix operating systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to localize issues, perform software testing, and work effectively with technical documentation.
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English.
• Bonus points if you have direct experience with Ivanti Neurons for ITSM, Ivanti Service Manager, or experience with modern software development methodologies and BPM platforms.
