About the Role
We are seeking a mid-level Application Support Analyst to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will work closely with our trading, operational, and development teams to ensure our core daily technology processes and custom business applications function seamlessly. You will be responsible for monitoring our technology stack, implementing infrastructure improvements, and deploying necessary fixes to keep our systems running at their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first and second-line support to our trading, operations, and pricing teams while managing the escalation of complex issues.
- Oversee our extensive batch job processes to guarantee the smooth operation of critical business functions throughout the day.
- Lead incident management and root cause analysis, taking ownership of complex technical challenges from initial report through to final resolution.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in production or application support within the financial services sector.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong technical proficiency, specifically in SQL, Python, and reading stack traces for debugging.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and a solid understanding of maintaining cloud environments.
- Excellent numerical skills and a foundational knowledge of fixed income and fixed income derivatives.
- A collaborative mindset with a proven ability to partner effectively with traders, quants, and developers.
Location
This position is based in the United Kingdom and requires an on-site presence in our professional office environment.
