About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Application Security Lead to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will be the primary advocate for secure development practices across our organization. You will work closely with our engineering teams to build, maintain, and refine our application security processes, ensuring that our global payment platform remains resilient against evolving threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement comprehensive security requirements throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments, including source code reviews, manual testing, and dynamic scanning to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Collaborate with development teams to promote secure coding practices and facilitate external security audits and certifications like PCI DSS and ISO 27001.
Requirements
- A degree in computer science, information security, or a related technical field.
- Strong expertise in application security, including deep familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 and secure coding standards.
- Proven experience with penetration testing, security auditing, and the use of both commercial and open-source security tools.
- Solid understanding of system and network security, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Background in software architecture or development to effectively review code and understand complex system designs.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a high level of proficiency in English to thrive in our international environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address complex security challenges.
Location
This position is based in Serbia.
