What you bring
We are seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our products by integrating security into every stage of the development lifecycle. You will work in a hybrid environment, and your primary responsibilities will include the following:
- Leading the implementation of security tools and documentation to strengthen our overall application security posture.
- Performing comprehensive penetration testing and code reviews to proactively identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
- Partnering with our development teams to resolve security gaps and promote best practices across our services.
Requirements
To succeed in this position, you should have at least three years of hands-on experience in application security. We are looking for someone who possesses a deep understanding of common security threats and the ability to explain complex technical risks to various stakeholders. Proficiency in programming languages such as Ruby and Python is essential. You should be a proactive problem solver who thrives when working alongside developers and product managers to build secure, scalable solutions. A strong background in information security and a commitment to continuous improvement are key characteristics of the ideal candidate.
