Are you ready to shape the future of digital safety for a global leader in the hospitality industry? RYZ Labs is a startup studio founded in 2021 by entrepreneurs with deep roots in Latam and experience at some of the world's most iconic tech companies. We are currently looking for a talented Application Security Engineer to join our partner's expanding global security team. If you are passionate about building resilient systems and thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment, we want to hear from you.
Role at a glance
This is a mid-level contractor position available to professionals based in Argentina or Uruguay. You will work in a fully remote capacity, collaborating with a distributed team to secure cutting-edge cloud applications.
Your impact
- Act as an internal security consultant to guide engineering teams through risk assessments and best practices.
- Design secure architectural solutions and conduct rigorous threat modeling to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
- Integrate security controls directly into CI/CD pipelines and automate testing processes to ensure a security-first development lifecycle.
What you'll need
We are looking for someone who brings a proactive mindset and a solid technical foundation. You should have 3 to 5 years of experience in secure software development, security architecture, or threat modeling. Proficiency in English is required to communicate effectively across our global teams. While not mandatory, holding professional certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, GWEB, or CREST-CWAT is highly desirable. We value candidates who are eager to mentor others through security training programs and who can lead incident response efforts with confidence.
Perks and compensation
We offer a flexible remote work environment that allows you to own your workflow and grow alongside a team of dedicated specialists. You will have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that challenge your skills and expand your expertise in the latest cloud computing technologies.
