As an Application Security Engineer, you will join our team to protect our products, architect robust security solutions, and ensure our engineering practices remain resilient against evolving threats.
Responsibilities
- Design and integrate security testing tools directly into CI/CD pipelines to catch vulnerabilities early.
- Partner with engineering teams to embed security best practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
- Perform threat modeling and risk assessments to identify potential attack vectors and prioritize necessary security controls.
- Guide engineers in designing secure application architectures and provide actionable recommendations for mitigation.
- Coordinate the remediation of identified vulnerabilities by working closely with developers.
- Promote a security-first culture by training teams and sharing knowledge across the organization.
- Stay current on emerging security trends and technologies to proactively address new risks.
Must-haves
- At least 3 years of professional experience in application security, including vulnerability management and threat modeling.
- A strong foundation in software engineering, with the ability to review and assess security within application code.
- Proven success in integrating security into the software development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise in analyzing and prioritizing vulnerabilities while driving effective remediation efforts.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with mobile application security frameworks and common vulnerabilities for iOS and Android.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning security, including data integrity, privacy issues, and adversarial attacks.
