The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Application Architect to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be the primary architect for our software products, bridging the gap between complex business requirements and robust technical solutions. You will partner with stakeholders and developers to design systems that are modular, reliable, and extensible. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring we continue to deliver world-class loyalty solutions within our fast-paced environment.

A day in the life

• You will mentor our software developers, guiding them through the design and implementation of high-quality systems that serve millions of users.
• You will collaborate closely with product owners and engineering leads to provide accurate designs and estimates for upcoming initiatives.
• You will champion innovation by sharing best practices, conducting code reviews, and designing highly performant, scalable architectures.

Who you are

You are an experienced engineer with a deep background in designing and operating enterprise-grade software. You communicate effectively in English and possess the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Java and J2EE development.
• A strong grasp of SOLID principles and modern software design patterns.
• Proficiency in RDBMS technologies and real-time systems.
• Experience with Oracle databases and familiarity with New Relic is highly preferred.
• A talent for mentoring others and a knack for explaining the trade-offs of technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
