As a Senior Application Architect, you will join our mission-driven team to design robust, scalable software products that grow enterprise value for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with and mentor software developers to build high-quality, reliable systems used by millions of customers.
- Partner with product managers and engineering leads to provide technical designs and project estimates.
- Promote engineering excellence by introducing best practices, pairing with team members, and designing highly performant, extensible architectures.
- Communicate technical trade-offs and costs clearly to stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met.
- Defend and enforce architectural decisions across all layers of the application stack.
Must-haves
- Extensive experience in designing, building, and operating enterprise-grade production software.
- At least 5 years of professional experience with Java and J2EE.
- Strong proficiency in RDBMS technology for real-time systems.
- Deep understanding of modern design patterns and principles, including SOLID, DRY, and Twelve-Factor.
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions and mentor engineering staff.
- Broad background in custom development, systems integration, and database architecture.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Familiarity with New Relic for performance monitoring.
