About the Role
We are seeking a Senior API Solution Architect to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will lead the design and integration of bilateral SaaS platforms, specifically focusing on our third-party finance APIs. Your expertise will be instrumental in building robust solutions within the solar energy sector, ensuring our technology remains efficient and scalable as we continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of our API infrastructure to ensure it is highly secure, reliable, and cost-effective.
- Create and maintain high-performance, scalable distributed systems that support our core business operations.
- Monitor ongoing performance and proactively implement improvements to our API systems.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical background and a passion for solving complex architectural challenges. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 3 years specifically focused on API frameworks and cloud solutions like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with containerization tools such as Docker and management platforms like Kubernetes.
- Proven experience building APIs within the solar or energy industry.
- Deep knowledge of microservice patterns, SOA, J2EE design, and event-driven architectures.
Location
This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $120,000 to $135,000 USD. In addition to this compensation, you will enjoy the flexibility of a remote work environment.
