What you bring
We are seeking a Senior API Solution Architect to join us on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will lead the design and integration of our bilateral SaaS platforms, including our third-party finance APIs, with a specific focus on the solar and energy industry. You will be based anywhere, working with a team that values your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities.
- Lead the design and development of a secure, reliable, and cost-effective API infrastructure.
- Architect and build highly scalable, performant distributed systems.
- Monitor and optimize API performance to ensure the highest standards of reliability.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with at least seven years of software development experience and a strong background in API design. You should have a deep understanding of distributed systems, microservice patterns, and software engineering best practices. We require at least three years of experience with cloud solutions like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as three years of experience working with API frameworks. Additionally, you need at least two years of experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is expected, and you must be proficient in English. A solid grasp of SOA, EAI, and event-driven architecture is essential for your success in this position.
What we offer
We are pleased to offer a base salary range of $120,000 to $135,000 USD for this position. Beyond the compensation, we provide the following benefits:
