1047 Games was founded in 2017 by two computer science students in their Stanford dorm room with a simple goal to make games that are genuinely fun. Our team is driven by a passion for arena shooters, which led us to create Splitgate, a title that introduced portal mechanics to the first-person shooter genre. Since those early days, we have grown into a venture-backed organization that has secured over $120 million in funding.
