Since our founding in 2017, Send has been on a mission to transform the commercial insurance industry by fusing deep domain expertise with advanced technology. We have grown from a bootstrapped startup into a profitable, award-winning company, recently securing $10 million in Series A funding to fuel our expansion across the UK and the US. Our flagship underwriting workbench is recognized as a leader in the global market, and we are now looking for talented individuals to help us reach our next phase of growth as we prepare for our Series B round. We pride ourselves on building a diverse, inclusive team where innovation and creativity thrive, and we strongly encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every single qualification listed.
About the Role
We are seeking a Mid-Level Angular Engineer to join our technology team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the front-end development of our underwriting workbench. This is a remote-first position, though you are welcome to use our London office near Monument as often as you like.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable Angular components that serve as the foundation of our underwriting platform.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to translate requirements into elegant, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
- Ensure high code quality and reliability by writing and maintaining comprehensive unit and end-to-end tests using Jest and Playwright.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should bring the following skills and experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, including a solid grasp of modern front-end development practices.
- A proven track record of delivering clean, maintainable, and well-tested Angular code in a commercial setting.
- Experience using state management libraries in large-scale applications, with a preference for NgRx.
- A proactive approach to debugging and a keen eye for UI detail to ensure a seamless user experience across different devices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative, agile team environment.
Location
This position is remote and open to candidates based in the UK.
