Android Team Lead at Unity Technologies

We are looking for an Android Team Lead to join our team in Israel on a full-time, on-site basis. At Unity, we provide the leading platform for creating and growing interactive experiences, powering over 70 percent of the top 1,000 mobile games and reaching billions of downloads every month. You will play a pivotal role in our mission by guiding a talented group of developers as we build innovative, high-impact applications that reach hundreds of millions of users worldwide. Responsibilities

• Lead and unify a team of Android developers, fostering a collaborative environment while setting clear goals that align with our broader project objectives.
• Drive development excellence by implementing coding standards, testing protocols, and agile methodologies, while providing technical mentorship to ensure the creation of scalable and efficient solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, system engineers, and global stakeholders to ensure our features meet strategic business goals and provide meaningful value to our users.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience in Android development.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a team management or leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and a deep understanding of OOP concepts and design.
• Proven experience working within Agile environments, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Professional proficiency in English, as you will be communicating frequently with global partners and colleagues.
• A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or an equivalent degree, along with experience in Android SDK development and the latest OS features, is considered a plus.
