Role at a glance

We are searching for a Staff Android Engineer to join our Hospitality team. This is a full-time, senior-level position based on-site in the United States. You will focus on scaling our native mobile applications, ensuring they remain reliable and performant even in challenging environments.

Your impact

• Architect and build robust Android solutions that maintain full functionality 24 hours a day, including during periods with no network connectivity.
• Lead technical initiatives to improve system resilience, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery while mentoring junior team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify performance bottlenecks and implement high-impact optimizations across our product suite.

What you'll need

You should be an expert in native Android development with a passion for solving complex technical problems. We value candidates who bring the following:

• At least 8 years of software engineering experience, with deep expertise in Kotlin and Java.
• Strong proficiency in SQLite and local device caching strategies.
• A background in performance tuning, optimization, and building scalable applications.
• Experience with RxJava is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A self-motivated mindset with a commitment to driving innovation within a high-performing team.

Perks and compensation

The base salary range for this role is $180,000 to $240,000 USD. Beyond the base pay, we offer a comprehensive package designed to support your well-being and long-term growth.
