Role at a glance

This is a full-time, senior-level position focused on the development and optimization of our Android applications. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional features. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of technical challenges while contributing to our collective codebase.

Your impact

• Collaborate with designers, API developers, and QA engineers to define and implement optimal solutions that drive our product goals.
• Champion collective code ownership by participating in regular pull-request-based code reviews and sharing knowledge across the team.
• Monitor application performance and stability in real-time, proactively resolving crashes and optimizing network responsiveness to ensure a seamless user experience.

What you'll need

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in Android development and a passion for engineering excellence. We value candidates who possess the following:

• At least 3 years of professional Android development experience, including work on commercial-grade services.
• Deep proficiency with Java, Kotlin, and the JVM environment.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, such as data structures, algorithms, memory models, and operating systems.
• Experience with asynchronous programming using RxJava or Coroutines, as well as writing thread-safe code.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation in English.
• Fluency in Git for version control.
• Bonus points for familiarity with MVVM, clean architecture, WebRTC, Jetpack Compose, and multi-module design.
