The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Android Mobile Engineer to join our team in Porto. You will play a vital role in the evolution of our Android application, helping to shape our long-term mobile strategy. This is a chance to work on a modular, end-to-end platform that tackles complex technical challenges on a global scale. You will have the autonomy to break traditions and innovate, ensuring our users enjoy a seamless and elegant experience every time they engage with our platform.

A day in the life

• You will guide the development of new features while ensuring the highest standards of product quality across the board.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build common libraries and establish best practices that foster a culture of continuous learning.
• You will drive our commitment to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment to improve the consistency and speed of our release cycles.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with at least five years of experience in Android development. You are passionate about writing clean, efficient code and possess the following skills:

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, with additional experience in Java being a plus.
• A solid understanding of REST API architecture and how it interacts with the client-side stack.
• A deep curiosity for technical details, specifically regarding memory management, UI rendering, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication skills in English, allowing you to work effectively within our diverse, international team.
