The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Android Mobile Engineer to join our team in Porto. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the development of our Android application, helping to shape our long-term mobile strategy. You will have the freedom and autonomy to break traditions and revolutionize how our customers interact with luxury fashion. Working in our vibrant Porto office, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges while enjoying a creative and supportive workspace.

A day in the life

• You will guide the development of new features while ensuring our product quality remains at the highest level from start to finish.
• You will contribute to the creation of common libraries that are used across multiple teams to streamline our development processes.
• You will help establish industry-leading best practices in Android development, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Who you are

You are an experienced professional who is passionate about mobile technology and building elegant user experiences. To be successful in this role, you should bring the following:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, with additional experience in Java being a significant plus.
• A deep understanding of REST API architecture and the connection between client-side development and backend stacks.
• A keen interest in technical details such as memory management, UI rendering, and overall performance optimization.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively within our global team.
